Is the parasol waterproof?

The canopy is made of high-quality polyester with UV 50+ coating, which is water-repellent and resistant to light rain – but it is not fully waterproof in heavy showers.

How long do the LED lights stay on?

When fully charged during the day (take <2h), the solar-powered LEDs typically provide 6–8 hours of warm ambient light in the evening.

Are the rechargeable batteries included?

No – the solar panel requires 2 × AA rechargeable batteries, which are not included in the box.

Can I use regular AA batteries in the solar panel?

No – the system is designed specifically for rechargeable AA batteries.

Using standard (non-rechargeable) batteries will damage the charging function.

Will it fit into standard parasol bases?

Normally Yes – the pole has a diameter of 48 mm and fits into most standard parasol bases. For best stability, we recommend pairing it with our DUC umbrella base.

Is it difficult to assemble?

Not at all. The parasol arrives partially assembled. You simply connect the two pole sections and attach the solar panel – no tools required.
